Body building is one great way to boost the metabolism of your body. By adding muscle, your body tends to consume foods faster, hence a quicker metabolism. And the fact that you will look much better with some muscles should convince you to go for it. Of course your friends, colleagues and spouse will love you more for it. The control you have over your metabolism is evident in three ways. The first is your body mass your muscles; more is faster, less is slower. The second is the food you eat; the lighter, the faster. And the third is how much exercise you do. You already know how that works for you. So, what are you going to do sit and stare? I say you should do something about it right away. Your muscle mass affects your metabolism. Unfortunately, a lot of ladies think muscles are strictly for guys, so they neglect this and get fat. Two words: slow metabolism. They could change this anytime they like by adding some muscle and speeding up their metabolism. And of course, I am talking to you too get some muscles and you will be the better for it. People who diet understand that they have to speed up the metabolism in their bodies. However what a lot of them find hard to swallow is the fact that muscle helps them to do this. Women are most guilty here. So you would find a lady starve herself to lose weight rather than work to get some muscle. It doesnt have to be this way, and you can be the person to start to make a difference. If you are a woman and you have been told about the importance of getting some muscle, its important to know that muscles do not make you look nasty as a woman; just take a look at Tina Turner, Janet Jackson, and Angela Basset. These ladies are at the top of their game; and even as they age, they still look great! So you know that the muscles help you to increase the rate of your metabolism? It really does.
